If you are looking for an appointment that is less than 48 hours away, you will notice in the 'Book Now' form that your desired slot is greyed out. This is intentional.
However, you can still try your luck by first filling up the form here, and select my earliest available slot (which is not greyed out). As you fill up the form, you'll see the question 'urgent request?'. Meaning do you need consultation + reiki session to happen within the next 48 hours? If yes, follow onscreen instructions. I'll then manually check my availability and slot you in if I'm available.
Please note that if you book an appointment this way, it will be considered as 'Last minute appointment', and so, once confirmed, any further rescheduling or cancellation will cost you 100% of the fee.
Yeap! I welcome dogs, cats & horses. If you have other species of animals, you're welcome to chat with me to see if I accept your animal. An advantage of my reiki approach is that it's hands off. So, even if an animal is one that I am personally afraid of, wild, or aggressive, we can still potentially have a session together. The bottom line is all animals can benefit from reiki.
While some reiki practitioners may be psychic, this is not a skill required in order to share reiki. Sometimes, reiki practitioners may receive intuitive messages about an animal during reiki. However, going back to my approach to hold space for an animal without judgement, rather than getting caught up in deciphering what these messages mean, I come back to focus on the present moment and in the perfection of the animal's inner light.
To add to the confusion, some reiki practitioners do share these intuitive messages with you, the client. Which actually goes into the area of work of an Animal Communicator, whose focus is on two-way communication with your animal, while Animal Reiki Practitioner focuses on energetic healing for your animal. Simply put, the former invites your animal for an active engagement while the latter invites a passive engagement.
To learn more about the differences between the two roles, I recommend this in-depth article by my teacher Kathleen Prasad here. And if you need a recommendation for an Animal Communicator based in Selangor, I'm happy to connect you, just drop me a message.
Generally, during the session, there is no need to restrain your animal by leash or cage, unless they are unpredictable or aggressive where they would attack a visitor like myself. During the session, both you the animal parent and I try not to move your animal around or interact too much with it, it's so that your animal can ease into their own zone.
If you have other animals, they are free to join if they want to, it's their choice if they want to come or go during a session. You do not have keep them away for fear of interrupting a session. The reiki meditation is peaceful and maybe they want to be a part of the experience too!
And if you would to bask in some reiki yourself, you are welcome to join the session. In fact, having your presence could reassure your animal. You don't have to prepare anything, just grab a seat!
While a single reiki session can boost your animal's wellbeing, if your animal is suffering from a serious or chronic condition or navigating a stressful situation, having once or more sessions per week is recommended. This is because sessions support each other when given close together. The actual frequency will depend on your animal’s individual needs, ranging from twice a week to once a month
Reiki works a bit like a jab, in that in the beginning you may need to have sessions more frequently to bring the animal's wellbeing to a certain stable level, and then you can reduce the frequency with a 'maintenence' schedule.
For this reason, if you foresee that your animal may need more than a one-off support, I recommend that you opt for 'Bundle' deals whenever possible, such as with the House Visit service. This will give you most results and most savings.
There is no guarantee for cure because ultimately all living beings undergo a cycle of birth, aging, illness, and death. While we cannot hit the rewind button to cure, we can however, always find ease through healing, no matter which stage of the cycle we are in.
'To cure' in a modern day approach may mean to fix what's wrong physically, emotionally, or mentally. Sometimes, we use the words 'cure' and 'heal' interchangeably. But they are not the same thing.
To me, 'to heal' means to feel complete, with ease and peace in the present moment. When we are willing to look past our and our animal's current physical, emotional, or mental state, we will realise that our animal's inner light is always shining despite everything, and with this realisation, we heal. Because self healing ability actually resides in all of us, whether in humans or animals. Reiki merely reminds us of what we are; light beings. Reiki doesn't bring out what we don't already have inside. In this sense, reiki healing is empowering.
Do check out the article by my teacher Kathleen Prasad here, the first section called 'Healing as Wholeness' summarises well the differences in approach between healing and curing.
